Melissa A Moss is a Strategy & Human Centered Design Advisor at A2J Tech, a company that helps low-income communities and vulnerable people across the country solve their legal problems. With over 22 years of relevant experience, Melissa is an expert in integrating co-design and process improvement with adaptive strategy to engage communities in solving problems, changing systems, and using technology for both. As the Founder & CEO of CatalystZone, LLC, Melissa has been involved in several projects, including Legal Aid Intake Process Improvement & Capacity-Building Project, Neighbors Designing Justice, and Justice for All (JFA) - MN LawHelp Guide Trusted Intermediaries as Facilitators. She has also been a workshop developer & design sprint facilitator for Integrating Legal Aid Intake Minnesota: Values & Principles. Melissa has presented at several conferences and workshops, including the National Association of Court Mgr. (NACM) Conference, International Legal Design Summit, and Stanford Law + Design Summit. She is also an Advisory Council member of Upsolve.org and has participated in the Stanford Legal Design Studio Challenge - The Escambia Project Replication. Melissa holds a Candidate, Legal Innovation and Technology Certificate from Suffolk University Law School, a Certificate in Design Thinking for The Social Sector from Stanford Social Innovations Review (SSIR), a Certificate in NonProfit Board Consulting from BoardSource, and a BS in Broadcast Media from Butler University.
